How much does Paint Protection Film (PPF) cost in Penang?

PPF pricing depends on coverage and vehicle size. A partial track-pack (bonnet, bumper, mirrors and fenders) typically starts in the low thousands of ringgit, while full-body PPF on a sedan or SUV runs higher. How long does a PPF or ceramic coating install take?

Window tint is typically same-day. Ceramic coating takes 1–3 days depending on package. Paint Protection Film is the longest — full-body PPF usually takes 3–5 days because every panel is templated, dry-fit and squeegeed by hand inside our climate-controlled studio. We confirm an exact handover date when you book.

Is window tint legal in Malaysia?

Yes. JPJ regulations allow up to 70% VLT on the front windscreen and front side windows, and up to 50% VLT on the rear windscreen and rear side windows. Some medical exemptions allow darker tints. FOC installs JPJ-compliant nano-ceramic films with high IR heat rejection — even in lighter legal shades the cabin runs noticeably cooler.

Does ceramic coating replace Paint Protection Film?

No — they solve different problems. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that adds gloss, hydrophobicity, and UV and chemical resistance, but it does not absorb impact. Paint Protection Film is a physical TPU film that takes stone chips and scratches for you. For the highest level of protection, owners pair PPF on impact-prone panels with ceramic coating over the whole car.

Will a colour wrap damage my car's original paint?

No. A correctly installed colour-change vinyl wrap from a 3M Pro Shop protects the paint underneath and lifts off cleanly when removed by a trained installer, leaving the OEM paint intact. This is why wraps are popular with leased cars and resale-conscious owners.
